This is your space, womxn leaders

It's time to shake up the outdated, masculine leadership image. Lead in your own way and become a role model.

This is not the “Hey Ladiiieees” kind of course in dusky pink.

It's an innovative Female Leaderhip Program addressing the real needs of women leaders and leaders-to-be. And with women we refer to everyone who identifies as a woman. Your needs are as diverse as your personalities, but many of you look for a safe space to learn, experiment, and grow alongside other female leaders. Look no further.

WaveMakers Founder Katja hosts a quarterly Leadership Program for ambitious women who want to grow beyond any limitations and make more impact with their work. With techniques from Design, Entrepreneurship and Psychology, she helps you gain the confidence and skillset to be a leader. This program takes place in small, intimate groups of 8-10 participants - applications only.

What you can expect

In weekly live sessions, you will dedicate time to yourself and invest in your growth as a leader. Dismantle any hurdles within yourself and acquire new tools to influence the world around you. We also address topics like male-dominated leadership norms, gender stereotypes, and other biases.

Your Instructor

Katja started out her career in Hong Kong, right after high school. Life is too short to stay in your comfort zone.

Without any prior studies, she was selected into a management traineeship which she completed with distinction. Just to continue her path in the Netherlands where she studied Communications and Marketing, and started working at Royal Philips. She got into Technology and Innovation, and eventually led EMEA Tech Communications. After seven years abroad, Katja moved back to her home country Germany in 2016. She built up the Marketing Communications function at SAP's startup incubator SAP.iO - just to become an entrepreneur herself three years later. It was the inflection point of her career, when she co-founded the Experience Design Studio Human Deluxe and - two years later - WaveMakers.

As entrepreneurs, every single day is unpredictable. Trying new things and pushing the limits on a daily basis is challenging, but also what she loves about the job. Based on her corporate and entrepreneurial experience, Katja has designed the Female Leadership Program in 2020. She wants to lift up and empower other ambitious women, so they can achieve anything in life.
